Ive run into a little difficulty trying to amend this so that we can have just a line of boxes at the same distance apart etc, but without the lines running in between. Is this possible and if so does anyone have to knowledge to either amend this existing linetype or run through the process with me.So I think you want something like A,1,-1,BOX,ltypeshp.shx,x-2.54,s2.54,-12.7,1 adjusting the -12.7 to whatever gap size you prefer. As I say its a while since I last messed about with linetypes so I cant guarantee the results; I will try it myself when I get on a machine with Acad.
I did try it, but unless I start with an positive integer (full number, not a decimal and not a minus) I get an error when loading the linetype definition. If it was me I could live with the dash in the fencepost but the trailing dash would annoy me. This site and forum is in no way affiliated with AutoDesk Inc, the creators of AutoCAD software.
